The lies I tell my kid at 4am

Miyu: No no no noooo

Me: Your body is so hot! It might catch fire! We better cool it down now with these cool towels.

Miyu: Don’t want fire (relents to my cool towels)

Helper’s not around so I’ve to do mummy duties on my own and cool down a 39.6 little hot pie. Strangely I’m not panicking and did exactly what my mom did to cool down my fever when I was young and it worked!

I hate it when things don’t go according to plan.
